You hand someone a deck of cards that are still in the box. Tell anyone in the audience to think of a card ... just THINK of it ... doesn't matter what it is. Then you open the box, spread the cards out and one card is face up in the deck - the card they're thinking of.

As a climax, the magician proves beyond all doubt he knew the card to be selected in advance by showing that the card has a different coloured back than the remainder of the deck.
