MAGICmagic began in early 2003 as a small, family business, trading out of a spare room in our house, as many ‘start-ups’ seem to do. We aimed to fulfil a very simple objective – to bring magic to the public at exceptional prices, and to offer them an outstanding level of customer service.

We are very proud to be able to say we have achieved that goal, and then some – as you can see for yourself by reading some examples of feedback on our Customer Comments page.

From those small and simple beginnings we’ve seen incredible growth: turnover has skyrocketed, we’ve more than trebled our number of staff, and the range of effects we stock has (almost) literally exploded!

Yet alongside this, MAGICmagic still remains very much a family business. When you phone up to ask about a particular effect, or to place an order, you’re just as likely to end up speaking directly to John or Julie now as you were in ‘the early days’. When you get an email from us, don’t be surprised if it has our name at the bottom. We love giving our customers the personal touch whenever it’s possible – we were passionate about magic when we began this project, and we’re even more enthusiastic about it now!

Each week sees the release of countless new products onto the magic market. You will notice from browsing our online store that we do not stock them all – rather, we try to offer our customers a selection of those effects we feel offer the highest quality and best value for money. However, if there’s a particular item that you wish to purchase and you cannot find it on our site, please just ask – we are more than happy to make special orders for customers, on request.
